It's been a busy week for Waskom 2019 ATH TK Hamilton, whose recruitment has started to pick up significantly.

On Thursday, Hamilton (6-0, 162) reported via Twitter that Northwestern State has offered.

In addition to Northwestern State, Hamilton also has Division I scholarship offers from Texas State and UTSA (FBS), and Alcorn State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and McNeese State (FCS).

Last season, Hamilton was at the forefront of Waskom's heavy ground attack. In 13 games, he finished with 1,815 yards and 26 touchdowns. That was good enough to rank him among the top 10 backs in East Texas. Hamilton also spent time playing defensive back for the Wildcats.

Northwestern State is an FCS school that competes in the Southland Conference. The Blue Demons are under the direction of first-year head coach Brad Laird after finishing 2017 with an overall record of 4-7 (4-5 in conference).

Hamilton, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him beginning in December.
