There are three East Texas girls teams occupying the top three spots in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 1A Division II poll, and the top two are on the road Tuesday night.

No. 1 Martin's Mill (19-4) travels to Big Sandy, while second-ranked Slocum (19-1) hits the road to face Lovelady.

The Lady Mustangs are coming off a dominating 69-24 win over LaPoynor, which entered last Friday's matchup ranked eighth in the state. Martin's Mill was led by 6-0 sophomore post Cheyenne Brown, who had 34 points and 12 rebounds.

Other key girls matchups include: No. 12 Liberty-Eylau at Paris and No. 25 Mineola at Brownsboro in 3A, No. 19 Tatum at White Oak in Class 2A, Gary at No. 3 Martinsville and Saltillo (No. 1 in 1A D-II) at No. 21 Bloomburg in Class A.
