Notre Dame Offers Gladewater Junior Daylon Mack

The 16th offer arrived Thursday evening for Gladewater standout Daylon Mack.

Mack's 16 offers are the most of East Texas' 11 players in the 2015 class with at least one Division I FBS offer. His lengthy offer list is now as follows: Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.

Mack plans to attend Saturday night's Notre Dame game against Arizona State at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Through Gladewater's first five games of the season, Mack has 30 tackles, nine for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one recovery, one punt block, and a safety. He had 62 tackles, 16 for loss, six sacks, and six recoveries as a junior.

Mack is the second East Texas junior to receive a Notre Dame offer after the Irish extended an offer to Whitehouse safety Justin Dunning on Sept. 22.

Mount Pleasant senior receiver K.D. Cannon, who is committed to Baylor, also has a Notre Dame offer.
