Pine Tree AD/Head Football Coach Derek Fitzhenry Reportedly Suspended

Pine Tree athletic director and head football coach Derek Fitzhenry has been removed from his position, at least temporarily, according to multiple reports.

One school employee told ETSN.fm they were not allowed to comment on the matter.

Smoaky.com reports that Fitzhenry has been suspended and not fired for allegedly shoving a student trainer.

There is no official word from PTISD on the situation or regarding to the duration of the reported suspension.

Pine Tree plays at Center on Friday night. The Pirates won their season opener over Van last week. Fitzhenry is in his third season at Pine Tree and has posted a 4-16 record.
