Pine Tree Shuts Down Henderson in 2-0 Lady Pirate Victory

HENDERSON -- Pine Tree almost held Henderson shotless in Tuesday night's 2-0 Lady Pirate victory at Lion Stadium.

Pine Tree accumulated a lopsided 23-1 advantage in shots.

The Lady Pirates jumped on top in the first half thanks to Lorena Gonzalez' goal off a Victoria Flores assist. That 1-0 lead held until about 15 minutes remaining in the contest, when Mikaela Bright set up Erin Bailey with a great pass for a goal and the 2-0 victory margin.

Pine Tree visits Kilgore on Tuesday.
