Pine Tree Soccer Clinches District 32-4A With 9-0 at Carthage

CARTHAGE -- Pine Tree keeps on rolling.

The Lady Pirates clinched District 32-4A with a 9-0 win at Carthage on Thursday.

Lorena Gonzalez and Kate Suits both had two goals for Pine Tree. Madi Vineyard, Kalynn Hudman, Erin Bailey, Ana Solis and Mikaela Bright also had scores for the Lady Pirates.

Hudman recorded a game-best three assists.

Pine Tree returns to action at Hallsville, 6 p.m. Friday.

The Lady Pirates (15-3-1, 10-0) are now slated to play the fourth-place team from District 31-4A in the playoffs. Its first-round opponent will either be John Tyler or Linedale.
