LONGVIEW -- Amanda Wallin scored with a minute left in the first half to net her 100th career goal in Pine Tree's 3-0 shutout of Plano at Thursday's Lady Lobo Chick-Fil-A Tournament at Longview High School.

Wallin, a senior, is Pine Tree's career leader in goals and assists. Wallin assisted Pine Tree's third goal of the match, which fellow senior Amanda Cabrera scored.

Cabrera scored two goals and assisted Wallin's goal to lead the Lady Pirates to the three-goal victory.

Kaiti Lawrence and Brittany Hollis combined for the shutout in goal. Pine Tree improved to 4-0-1 on the season despite a 10-6 disadvantage in shots. Charley Tyeskie, Ana Solis, and Devin Assenheimer led the defensive effort in front of Lawrence and Hollis.

Pine Tree continues play in the Lady Lobo Chick-Fil-A Tournament with a 10 a.m. match against Tyler Lee on Friday and a 4 p.m. contest against Lufkin.
