Pittsburg Rolls to 30-16 Win Over Liberty-Eylau

TEXARKANA -- The Pittsburg Pirates cruised to a 30-16 win over Liberty-Eylau in District 6-4A Division II on Friday night.

Desmond Allen ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns, Keontae Burns returned an interception 99 yards for score, and Jaylon Jimmerson totaled 117 yards and scored a touchdown for Pittsburg (6-3, 2-1).

Isaiah Cross passed for both of the touchdowns scored by Liberty-Eylau (2-7, 1-2).

Both teams finish the regular season next Friday night. Pittsburg hosts Spring Hill, while Liberty-Eylau travels to Gilmer.
