Pollok Central Softball Comes Down Hard On Newton

Pollok Central cruised to a 10-0 win against Newton in District 22-3A Wednesday.

Makenna Bell and Katelyn Boles had huge nights for the Lady Dogs.

Bell recorded a triple and two doubles in the game in addition to two stolen bases and two runs scored.

Boles struck out 16 Newton batters and only allowed one hit on the mound. At the plate, she hit a home run, a double and a single for three RBIs in the game.

Shelby East also had a productive game. She recorded two singles, drew a base on a hit-by-pitch then stole three bags through the course of the game.

Central will host Woden at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
