GLADEWATER -- James Reese and Marcello Jackson reached triple-digit rushing totals to power Gladewater to a 46-34 comeback win against Atlanta on Saturday at Jack V. Murphy-Bear Stadium.

Atlanta (2-2) led 21-14 at halftime, but the Bears stormed back with a 32-point second half to improve to 2-2.

Reese carried 20 times for 191 yards and three touchdowns, while Jackson had 18 carries for 111 yards and three scores. Justice Centers added 58 yards on nine rushes, while Daryl Polk gained 45 yards on seven carries as Gladewater amassed 431 rushing yards and averaged 7.1 yards per carry.

Gladewater quarterback Nick Canaguier completed 6 of 10 passes for 40 yards and an interception. He ran seven times for 26 yards. Centers led the Bears with three grabs for 18 yards.

Kenny Clark led Gladewater defensively with 11 tackles, one for loss, and a forced fumble, while highly-touted junior defensive tackle recruit Daylon Mack added seven tackles, for loss, and a sack. Kenny Gossett had six tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Gladewater's Austin Blanco had eight tackles and recovered two fumbles. Teammates Jaz Tyiska and Duke Gordon each recovered a fumble.

Gladewater finished plus-2 in the turnover department. The Bears lost three fumbles, but recovered five Atlanta fumbles.

Gladewater opens District 16-3A play Friday night at rival Gilmer. Atlanta visits Mount Pleasant in the Rabbits' final non-district game.
