Purdue + Utah Offer Mount Pleasant Receiver K.D. Cannon

Two new offers arrived Thursday afternoon for Mount Pleasant's K.D. Cannon.

The 6-foot, 160-pound receiver said on Twitter that had received offers from Purdue and Utah.

The Boilermakers and Utes join a lengthy offer list that puts Cannon with the second-most offers among recruits in East Texas' 2014 football class with 21 (Newton's Kevin Shorter has 22). Cannon led East Texas in receptions and receiving touchdowns and finished second in receiving yards in 2012, when he amassed 104 grabs for 1,597 yards and 25 touchdowns.
