LONGVIEW -- Whitehouse, the state's second-ranked 4A team, remains perfect after two wins Saturday at Longview's Lobo Classic Challenge.

The Wildcats (11-0) wrapped up their five games in three days at Lobo Field with a 7-3 win against El Dorado (Ark.) and a 4-1 victory versus Lake Hamilton (Ark.).

Grant Herrington (2-0) picked up the El Dorado win for Whitehouse with one earned run to seven strikeouts and two walks through 5.2 innings of work. Landry Mayo came in to get the last out of the six-inning game.

Patrick Mahomes hit a home run and drove in four runs through the course of the game while Eric Munoz hit two RBI and touched the plate twice himself. Caleb McNulty had two runs and an RBI.

Ryan Cheatham (3-0) got the start against Lake Hamilton and went six strong innings with one run allowed. He has thrown 28 strikeouts in 17 innings of work.

Peyton Conser had a 2-for-4 game with one RBI, a triple and a score.
