BIG SANDY -- Four Harmony players scored double digits and the Eagles cruised past Harmony in their Saturday game, 68-29.

Waymon Lay recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Dalton Brenner scored a game-best 16 points for Harmony and double-digit scorers were rounded out by Bentley Miner and Jacob Kimmen who had 11 points apiece.

Brenner hit two 3-pointers on the way to his 16 tallies.

Kimmen had five assists, four steals and two blocks in the game. Miner recorded eight boards and a team-best five blocks.

Konrad Eichelman also played a significant role in the win with five assists and two points.

Harleton was led by Wyatt Stringfellow's 10 points.

Harmony moved to 2-1 with the win. Harleton fell to 1-2.

The Eagles will battle with Como-Pickton on Tuesday back in Big Sandy. Harleton will visit Simms Bowie.

Kawaii Gordon Guides Winona To Win Over Waskom

WINONA -- Kawaii Gordon scored 22 points for Winona in its 58-23 win against Waskom.

Gordon also had three assists and three steals.

Mallori Shacklett and Nichola Garrett rounded out top scorers with eight points each. Shacklett picked up three rebounds as well.

Randaysha Hanson made her presence felt with a game-best seven steals in addition to four points on the offensive side.

The Ladycats (2-1) will visit Mt. Enterprise on Monday.
