Saturday Basketball: Second-Ranked Laneville Rolls to Big Win Over Apple Springs

LANEVILLE -- The second-ranked Laneville Yellow Jackets kept pace with No. 3 Oakwood atop the District 25-A Division II standings with a 99-42 rout of Apple Springs on Saturday afternoon.

The game was originally scheduled for last Tuesday, but inclement weather in the area forced the postponement.

Ty Johnson led Laneville (24-6, 8-1) with 20 points. He was in joined in double figures by Kendrick Anderson (16 points), Tiarel Franklin (16), LaDarius Arnett (15) and Tra Alexander (14).

Laneville returns to the court Tuesday at Kennard, while Apple Springs is off Tuesday before hosting Douglass next Friday.
