ORE CITY -- Devin Gonzalez was 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs, and two runs scored to lead Elysian Fields to a 13-1 win at Ore City on Saturday.

Gonzalez, a catcher, also threw out two runners attempting to steal. Teammate Jacey Doyle was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs, and three runs, while Montanna Methvin went 2-for-4 with a triple, three RBIs, and two runs.

Jane Harris held Ore City to three hits while striking out nine and hitting one batter to get the win in the circle. Teammate Keely Howard drove in one run and Kaylee Prather walked four times and scored twice.

Ore City's Tia Hollins, who had one of her team's three hits, allowed eight hits while striking out five, walking nine, and hitting two batters.

Kim Jongsma Leads No. 23 Winnsboro Past Como-Pickton

COMO -- Kim Jongsma went 4-for-4 with a home run, three doubles, and six RBIs to power 23rd-ranked Winnsboro to a 14-1 five-inning victory Saturday at Como-Pickton.

Winnsboro, which had 15 hits, got three 3-for-4 performances from Kasey Thomas, Danielle Gregory, and Raegan Johnson. Thomas, Gregory, and April Fry scored three runs apiece.

Brenda Jongsma earned her 14th win of the season in the circle.

Winnsboro (16-6-1, 7-4) hosts Commerce on Tuesday.
