VAN -- The White Oak Ladynecks went 2-1 on the final day of the Van Tournament on Saturday.

White Oak defeated Tyler All Saints 25-15, 17-25, 25-18, lost to Spring Hill 25-23, 25-14 and knocked off Crandall 25-21, 25-15.

In the Ladynecks' win over All Saints, Madison Pecot and Rebecca Green led the way with 11 kills and two digs apiece. Taylor Tramel added eight kills and 14 digs, while Camryn Sutton finished with 24 assists.

Lanna Johnson led All Saints with 15 kills, while Frances Hackney posted 21 assists.

In White Oak's loss to Spring Hill, Green had 10 kills and Sutton registered 15 assists. Pecot, Audrey Lunstedt and Kailee Simmons (four digs, six assists) each had three kills in the Ladynecks' victory over Crandall. Sutton chipped in with seven assists and five digs.

White Oak continues its season at home Tuesday with a dual match against Spring Hill and Hallsville.

Tyler All Saints, after losing to White Oak, won its next two matches Saturday to finish as consolation champions.

The Lady Trojans defeated Sanger 25-21, 25-19. Johnson had 15 kills, while Maddie Smith added 18 assists. In their 25-23, 25-11 win over Cayuga, Johnson finished with eight kills, Smith added 20 assists and Foster Hackney provided 10 digs.

All Saints (7-1) plays host to Lindale on Tuesday.

Pine Tree Goes 4-2 at Longview Tournament

LONGVIEW -- Pine Tree went 2-1 Friday and 2-1 Saturday, reaching the Lady Lobo Tournament championship before falling to Lindale 25-18, 25-13 to push the Lady Pirates' season record to 4-4.

Pine Tree's Kennedy Sampson was named to the all-tournament team after compiling 53 assists in PT's three Saturday matches.

Pine Tree beat Lufkin 25-6, 25-18 before topping Longview 25-23, 25-23 in a tournament semifinal behind Sky Holmes' 13 kills and three blocks. Sampson had 20 assists and eight digs, while Kerri Johnson and Hannah Seibel combined for seven kills.

Sampson had 17 assists, while Holmes added five kills and two blocks in the championship loss to Lindale. Pine Tree's Kabreshia Orange contributed five kills in that match.

Orange had seven kills in the win vs. Lufkin, which also featured three kills, four aces, and five digs from Johnson. Holmes had a team-high seven aces, while Sampson dished out 16 assists.

Gary Tournament Roundup

GARY -- The Kilgore Lady Bulldogs went 1-1 on the final day of the Gary Tournament, losing to Henderson 25-12, 25-21 and defeating Bullard 17-25, 25-23, 25-15.

Annie Mehringer had five kills and five digs in the loss to Henderson. Nichole Flores finished with 14 digs, while Adreyanna Barnes had 10 assists and two aces.

In the win over Bullard, Mehringer finished with 15 kills, 34 digs and two aces, Tony Burks had 13 kills, five digs and one block, Barnes had 29 assists, 12 digs and two aces and Flores contributed 15 digs and one ace.

Bullard was led by Maddy Davis' seven digs and two aces. Madi Hodges added 11 digs, Ashley Searcy had 10 kills, Rachel Kelley and Mallory McCoy each had 11 assists and Katie Trezise provided six kills and three blocks.

Bullard also lost to Tatum on Saturday, 25-23, 25-9. Trezise had four kills and one block, Hodges had three digs and McCoy added three assists.

Troup went 1-1 in Gary on Saturday, defeating Gary 25-17, 25-19 and losing to Henderson 25-14, 22-25, 25-17.

In the win over Gary, Caitlin Vickers had three kills and two digs. Chesney Cover added four kills, five digs and three aces, Bethany Mason had 11 digs and 12 serve receptions, Paeton Nolan added three kills, three blocks, nine digs and four aces, Carly Dyess had 15 assists and three digs and Josee Ross had five kills, two blocks, six digs and three aces.

Cover led Troup in its loss to Henderson with seven kills and nine digs. Mason added 16 digs and 17 serve receptions, Nolan added one kill, three digs and one ace, Kayla Thomas had two kills and one assist, Monet Hale had two kills and one block, Dyess added one kill, 13 assists, one block, two digs and two aces and Ross chipped in with 10 kills, nine digs and 11 serve receptions.

Kilgore is at Nacogdoches on Tuesday, Bullard plays at Huntington and Troup plays host to Gilmer.

Carthage Goes 1-2 At Garland Tournament

GARLAND -- The Carthage Lady Dogs won one of three matches Saturday at the Garland Tournament.

Carthage lost to Wylie East 25-19, 25-13, defeated Killeen Harker Heights 25-19, 25-12 and lost to Mesquite Poteet 22-25, 25-13, 25-18.

The Lady Dogs (4-4), who went 3-4 in the two-day event, play at Whitehouse on Tuesday.

Sabine Drops Two of Three At Burkburnett Tourney

BURKBURNETT -- The Sabine Lady Cardinals went 1-2 on the final day of the Burkburnett Tournament.

Sabine lost to Iowa Park 25-26, 25-22, 25-20, lost to Henrietta 25-13, 25-17 and defeated Vernon 25-21, 22-25, 25-22.

In the loss to Iowa Park, Sabine was led by Haley Stuart, who finished with 13 kills, six digs, one block, one assist and three aces. Tylia Sylestine added seven kills, 17 digs and one ace, Brittany Terry had five kills, three digs and one ace and Kennidee Taylor added 14 digs.

Stuart had four kills, one blocks and three digs in the loss to Henrietta. Sylestine finished with two kills, 13 digs, one assist and one ace and Taylor had 10 digs.

In the victory over Vernon, Stuart had four kills, three blocks, one dig, one assist and one ace. Terry had six kills, six digs, one assist and one ace, Skyllar Richter added seven kills and two digs, Jayden Mount had 13 assists, two digs and two aces and Emily Ivins had four kills, six assists and eight digs.

Sabine continues its season at home Tuesday against Overton.

Beckville Gets Second in Silver Bracket

LONGVIEW -- Beckville earned second place in the silver bracket of the Longview Tournament by winning two of three matches Saturday.

Beckville defeated Longview JV 29-30, 25-6, 25-4 and Marshall 25-11, 25-15 and lost to Rusk in the championship match 18-25, 25-17, 25-16.

Against Longview JV, Ivy Rieke had eight kills and eight digs to lead the way. Taylor Lindsay added seven kills and two digs, while Kassidy Alexander had 13 assists. In the win over Marshall, Lindsay finished with five kills and two digs and Alexander registered 12 assists.

In the loss to Rusk, Lindsay had 10 kills and six digs, Rieke added six kills and two digs, Carson Blair had five kills and four digs and Alexander contributed 21 assists.

Beckville (3-4) resumes its season at home Tuesday against Elysian Fields.
