Seven East Texans Playing in Saturday’s Texas Round-Up All-Star Game in Maypearl

Seven East Texans will play in Saturday's 14th Annual Texas Round-Up All-Star Game in Maypearl.

Three boys and four girls will represent the region in the game featuring senior basketball players from schools in the 3A, 2A, and 1A classifications.

Tatum guard Javolick Garrett, Chapel Hill post Michael Harris, and Big Sandy forward Isaiah Johnson will play in the boys contest. Hemphill's Baylie Butler, Timpson's Jakelia Caraway, Athens' Demi Cumby, and Crockett's Madison Robison will play in the girls game.

The event includes a 1:30 p.m. three-point shootout, followed by the 3 o'clock girls game and the 5 o'clock boys game.

Butler and Caraway will play for the girls white squad, while Cumby and Robinson will play for the girls red team. Garrett will play for the white team against Harris and Johnson, who will team up on the red squad.
