Seven East Texas teams were ranked with the release of the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association volleyball polls Tuesday afternoon.

A pair of No. 6 teams led the East Texas contingent. Four-time defending state semifinalist White Oak was No. 6 in Class 2A, while defending state semifinalist Cayuga held down the same spot in Class A.

In Class 3A, Spring Hill was No. 10. The Lady Panthers (17-1) beat Lindale and Carthage in Tuesday night's tri-match at Panther Gymnasium.

Speaking of Carthage, the Lady Dawgs (18-7) were ranked No. 17 in the 3A poll prior to dropping matches to Spring Hill and Lindale on Tuesday. The TGCA 3A poll also included Kilgore at No. 20.

Following White Oak in the 2A poll were No. 12 Tatum and No. 17 Quitman.
