CENTER -- T.K. Hamilton rushed for 134 yards and four touchdowns and Waskom will play Thanksgiving week after beating Hemphill, 42-18, on Thursday night in a Class 3A Division II bi-district game.

Waskom (7-4) will face the Hearne-Rio Vista winner in the area round of the playoffs.

The Wildcats put up 397 of their 404 total yards on the ground in the game. Da'lyn Hill followed Hamilton with 102 yards and a touchdown while Ty Carter rushed for 76 yards and a score on nine carries.

Breandre Blake led Hemphill (6-5) with 180 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.

Blake's 58-yard touchdown cut Waskom's lead to 21-12 going into halftime, but it was all Waskom after that.

Hamilton reached paydirt twice in the second half to put the game out of reach, scoring from 3 and 47 yards out.
