WHITEHOUSE -- Patrick Mahomes threw for 346 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another 121 yards and two touchdowns as the No. 3 Whitehouse Wildcats steamrolled the Jacksonville Indians, 70-21, in District 16-4A action at Wildcat Stadium.

TEXARKANA — The Harris Rating System called Sulphur Springs' game at Texas High Friday as one of the top Class 4A games in the state, but in actuality the District 14 showdown was over by halftime.

TROUP -- With its leading rusher sidelined with an injury, fourth-ranked Tatum needed a spark. The Eagles got one.

VAN – The Athens Hornets’ winning ways continued Friday night as they clipped the defending District 15-3A champion Van Vandals, 28-23, at Memorial Stadium.
