2014 Week 11 Games

BULLARD -- The Guard broke away from Tyler All Saints with 20 straight points in the second and third quarters of Friday's TAPPS Division II, District II finale en route to a 40-13 win. With the victory, Bullard Brook Hill secured the first seed from District 2. All Saints' season ended.

MARSHALL -- Trailing by 10 points early in the third quarter, the Marshall Mavericks looked to be facing a season-ending loss at home on Senior Night.

BULLARD -- The last time the Bullard and Canton met in district play, they were both fighting for a playoff spot. Canton prevailed back in 2007. History failed to repeat itself on Friday night at Panther Stadium. The Panthers defeated the Eagles, 35-21, to finish the regular season with the second seed in District 5-4A Division II.

PRICE -- Carlisle got what it needed Friday to secure a No. 2 seed in the Class 2A Division II playoffs with an 18-14 victory against Kerens both teams' regular season finale. The Indians (8-2, 4-1) will be participating in the playoffs for the second straight year.

LUFKIN -- Trey Cumbie threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns -- mostly in the first half -- as the Lufkin Panthers beat the Jacksonville Indians, 51-6, in the District 16-5A regular-season finale at Abe Martin Stadium.

LONGVIEW – Behind another big night on the ground from Tylan Miller, the Longview Lobos capped an unblemished run through District 15-5A action with a 42-28 win over Hallsville on Friday night.

ATHENS -- The Hornets went to the running game early and often again Friday night as 20 seniors played their last game at Bruce Field. When the final horn sounded, Athens wrapped up the No. 2 seed in District 8-4A Division I play with a 52-28 victory over the Wills Point Tigers.

WHITEHOUSE -- Junior running back Ryan Taylor scored on a 1-yard run in overtime to lift the Lindale Eagles to a 27-24 season-ending win over arch-rival Whitehouse on Friday night at Wildcat Stadium.

TEXARKANA—Texas High rolled out to a 30-0 lead before Mount Pleasant scored in the final minute against the backup defense to avoid a shutout during a 30-7 win to celebrate Senior Night Friday at Tiger Stadium at Grim Park. KILGORE -- The Bulldogs handed Henderson a 24-18 loss Friday at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium in its regular season finale. The win was Kilgore's third straight in the rivalry, a series Kilgore now leads 45-29-1.
