Literally dozens of East Texas boys track and field competitors are headed to this weekend's UIL state meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.

Eight individual competitors and three relay teams qualified for state at the Region III and Region IV track and field championships in Class A Division II this past weekend.

LINDALE -- The 10th-ranked Jacksonville Indians kept their undefeated season alive with a 48-21 win over Lindale in District 16-4A action on Tuesday.

WHITE OAK -- White Oak built a 37-point halftime lead and coasted to a 88-16 blowout of Elysian Fields on Friday at E.B. Carrington Gymnasium.
