Senior quarterback ReShod Williams of West Sabine was named Most Valuable Player on the 10-2A Division I All-District Team, which was voted on by league coaches.
Williams was one of six individuals in the district to earn a superlative, the only Tigers player on a well-distributed signature list.
NEW CHAPEL HILL -- Jeffery Minor, Sir Cederic Suell, Andrew Anderson and Kris Davis were just too much for Pine Tree to overcome in the Bulldogs' 61-47 home win.
Minor and Suell scored 14 points each and Anderson chipped in another 12 for Chapel Hill. Davis rounded out Bulldogs double-digit scorers with 10 points.
