The top performing teams in various state qualifying 7-on-7 tournaments from the new Class 4A level all the way down to TAPPS converged at Veterans Park and Athletics Complex on Thursday, about two miles from Texas A&M's campus.

The Texas State 7-on-7 Association announced the four-team pools for Division II state-wide 7-on-7 tournament Sunday.
The tournament will be played July 10 and July 11 at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station.
GILMER -- Diboll won two of four games at the Division II 7-on-7 state qualifying tournament at Gilmer High School, but its second win will send the Lumberjacks to College Station next month for games against the state's best.
