East Texas Softball Teams Ranked by TGCA (March 21)

BRONTE -- The top-ranked Beckville Ladycats continued their winning ways, capturing three wins Saturday to capture first place in the Showdown of Texas Tournament.

VAN -- The Tyler All Saints Lady Trojans finished third in the Van Tournament, going 2-1 Saturday on the final day of the event.

The balance of power in District 7-3A Division I shifted in a big way during the 2014 season. Not surprisingly, however, New Boston captured the league championship, but no one could've predicted the season perennial state power Daingerfield endured.

REDWATER -- Winnsboro edged the Dragons on the road Friday, 42-35, in a very important District 7-3A Division I game. The Raiders moved into sole possession of second place in the league with help from other teams in the district while Redwater fell into a four-way tie for third place.
