LIBERTY CITY -- The Tatum Eagles jumped to a three-score lead in the first quarter and pulled away for a 48-21 win at Sabine on Friday.

Tatum's Shaq Johnson scored on runs of 8 and 29 yards, while Jaylon Shans scored on runs of 12 and 73 yards. Quarterback Darian Brooks capped a 60-yard game-opening drive with a one-yard touchdown run. Brooks also threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Stoker.

Tatum defensive lineman Collin Gage scored when he fell on a fumble in the end zone.

Sabine's Qwaylen Chumley scored the Cardinals' three touchdowns on runs of 13, 1, and 5 yards.

Tatum hosts Jefferson on Friday. Sabine visits White Oak.
