TATUM -- The Tatum Eagles found the win column for the first time this season with a 64-36 win over Hughes Springs on Friday night.

Quarterback OB Jones accounted for four touchdowns, while Jachais Jenkins ran for three scores as the Eagles (1-2) totaled more than 500 yards of offense.

Hughes Springs (2-2) got four touchdown passes from Andrew Gaul in defeat.

Both teams return to the field next Friday. Hughes Springs begins District 7-3A Division I play at home against Mount Vernon, while Tatum plays host to White Oak in the 8-3A D-I opener.
