Tatum multi-sport standout Javolick Garrett has received invitations to three basketball all-star games in the coming months.

The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches 1A-2A-3A all-star game, the Texas High School Coaches Association all-star game, and the 14th Annual Texas Round-Up all-star game have all invited to Garrett to participate.

Texas Round-Up was Saturday in Maypearl. The THSCA game is 7 p.m. July 29 at TCU's Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Forth Worth. The TABC game is to be determined.

Garrett led Tatum to a 31-10 record and an appearance in the Class 2A Region III championship, the Eagles' second regional championship appearance in the last three years. Garrett scored 85 points in the Eagles' final four games of the season and was named District 17-2A Offensive Player of the Year.

Garrett also had a huge senior football season. Playing defensive back, Garrett had 37 tackles, eight interceptions, one fumble recovery, and two defensive touchdowns as he was named a first-team selection on ETSN.fm's Football Super Team.

Big Sandy's Isaiah Johnson and Chapel Hill's Michael Harris also played in Saturday's Texas Round-Up in Maypearl. The game featured seniors from schools in the 3A, 2A, and 1A classifications.
