Tatum’s OB Jones Receives First Scholarship Offer

OB Jones hit a milestone today.

Jones, a 2019 QB for Tatum, tweeted that Arkansas-Pine Bluff became the first school to offer him.

Jones led the Eagles to a playoff appearance in 2017. They fell to eventual state champion Pleasant Grove in the first round and finished with a 3-8 record.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff competes in the Southwestern Athletics Conference of the NCAA's Division I FCS subdivision. The Golden Lions finished with a 2-9 record in 2017-18.

Jones, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him beginning in December.
