Taylor Schultz Leads Bullard Brook Hill Past Tyler All Saints 3-1 in Softball Action

BULLARD -- Taylor Schultz's go-ahead RBI double in the sixth inning helped the Bullard Brook Hill Lady Guard past Tyler All Saints 3-1 in non-district softball action Thursday.

With the game knotted at 1-1, Schultz ripped a double to score Lexi Crenshaw. Schultz finished the night 2-for-3 with that RBI and a run scored.

Brianna Young also had a big day at the plate for Brook Hill, collecting a pair of extra-base hits -- a triple in the second and a double in the fifth inning.

Crenshaw got the win in the circle. She allowed no earned runs on just two hits with four strikeouts in her four innings of work.

All Saints' only run of the game came courtesy of Maddie Smith's RBI double in the third.

Brook Hill returns to the field Tuesday at home against Tyler East Texas Christian, while All Saints plays host to Waco Reicher on Monday.
