It's been a remarkable career for Tenaha senior quarterback C.J. Horn, who's been starting on varsity since his sophomore season.

The magic continued last Friday night with an epic passing performance in No. 1 Tenaha's easy 65-0 rout of West Sabine.

Horn, son of head coach Craig Horn, completed 14 of 16 passes for 450 yards and six touchdowns to help Tenaha improve to 5-0 on the season.

For his efforts, C.J. Horn is the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week. He follows last week's winner, Gilmer quarterback Aaron "Poppy" Brown.

The Tigers quarterback, who also added 46 yards on three rushing attempts, has put up stellar numbers through the first half of the regular season. He has thrown for 1,081 yards with 14 touchdowns and one interception thus far. C.J. Horn has also run for 213 yards and four TD's.

In his three-year career at Tenaha, C.J. Horn has amassed 6,955 yards through the air with 87 touchdown passes.

Tenaha will face KIPP Houston Northeast on Saturday night before the Tigers begin District 11-2A Division I play against Wortham on Oct. 20.
