One of East Texas' most productive passers this season enjoyed a career-best performance last Friday night in the area's most lopsided outcome of the week.

Tenaha junior quarterback C.J. Horn was almost perfect in the Tigers' 74-0 rout of Wortham, completing 20 of 26 attempts for 508 yards and four touchdowns. He also scored on a 6-yard run on his only carry of the night.

For his efforts, Horn is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week. He follows last week's winner, Palestine running back Irric Deyon.

Horn connected with five different receivers, and averaged more than 25 yards per completion last Friday. Trai Gardner and Jay Lloyd were the most productive targets, combining for 12 catches, 311 yards, and three touchdowns.

For the season, Horn has passed for 2,012 yards with 24 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He is completing a staggering 73 percent of his pass attempts.

Horn and Tenaha (7-0, 2-0 in District 11-2A Division II), ranked No. 5 in the latest Associated Press Class 2A poll, return to action Friday night at home against Grapeland (3-4, 0-2).
