One of the nation's top sprinters made his college decision official on Tuesday when Texas High senior Kevin Harris signed with Baylor.

Harris, who will be competing in three events at this weekend's UIL State Track Meet in Austin, currently owns the country's top prep time in the 200 meter dash with a wind-aided mark of 20.68 seconds, according to a Baylor press release.

The Tigers speedster will compete in the 200 meter dash and run legs on Texas High's 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams Friday night in Austin.

Harris, the reigning two-time Class 4A Region II champion in the 200, looks to improve on last season's sixth-place finish at the state meet. Texas High's two qualifying relay teams currently hold the third- and fourth-fastest times in the nation, among high school programs.

Harris (6-2, 180) was also a cornerback for the Texas High football team last fall.
