Three East Texans Named to 12-5A Volleyball All-District First Team

Two Tyler Lee Lady Raiders and one Longview Lady Lobo garnered first-team recognition with the release of the 12-5A all-district volleyball team.

Lee junior libero Taylor Winchester joined senior teammate Rebekah Bowden, a middle blocker, on the all-district first team. Longview senior outside hitter NaQwavian Nelson also garnered first-team accolades.

Three more East Texans received second-team recognition. Tyler Lee junior outside hitter Claire Himes, senior setter Nicole Trpkosh, and Longview sophomore middle blocker Kaitlyn Adams represented the region on the second team.

Each school placed four players on the honorable mention list.
