Thursday Volleyball: Beckville Goes 2-0 At Longview Tournament

LONGVIEW -- The Beckville Ladycats went 2-0 on the first day of the Longview Tournament on Thursday.

Beckville defeated Spring Hill, 25-12, 25-12, and Longview's JV team, 25-12, 25-10.

In the win over Spring Hill, Riley Seegers led Beckville (3-0) with 10 kills, one block, three aces, and one dig. Hannah Humphries added four kills and a dig, Jordan Tondreau had two kills, a block, one ace, and six digs, while Kinley Pepper registered 21 assists to go with a kill, an ace, and four digs.

Seegers had eight kills, one block, one ace, and two digs against Longview's JV. Payton Jones added seven kills and seven digs, Tondreau had five kills, one block, two assists, and six digs, Humphries contributed four kills and one dig, and Pepper racked up 25 assists, an ace, and five digs.

Beckville resumes play in Longview on Saturday.
