HALLSVILLE – The Hallsville Bobcats, who were just 1-9 a season ago, remained unbeaten with a 62-14 thrashing of Bullard on Friday night at Bobcat Stadium.

Bobcats (3-0) senior Tristan Driggers did it all, rushing for three touchdowns, catching a TD, returning a punt for a score, and coming up with two turnovers on defense.

Driggers ran for 102 of Hallsville’s 329 rushing yards on the night.

Reece Ricketts and Latrez Young had touchdowns for Bullard (1-2).

Hallsville has a bye next week before beginning District 9-5A Division II play Sept. 28 at home against Pine Tree. Bullard plays host to Chapel Hill next Friday night.
