TEXARKANA -- The Texas High Lady Tigers remained unbeaten on the season with a 71-33 win over Pittsburg on Tuesday.

Angel Crump led Texas High (3-0) with 25 points, which included five 3-pointers. Grace Brooks hit three 3-point field goals and finished with 11 points, while Jalissa Trotter also finished with 11 points.

D'Mays Hashaway led Pittsburg with nine points.

Texas High, which returns to action at Malvern, Ark., next Tuesday, hit nine 3-pointers as a team. Pittsburg (4-2) hosts Lone Oak next Tuesday.

Fourth-Ranked Bullard Tops Whitehouse

WHITEHOUSE -- The No. 4 Bullard Lady Panthers continued their strong start to the season with a 47-31 win over Whitehouse on Tuesday.

Lexi Abercrombie led Bullard (10-1) with 22 points. Taylor Frederick added nine points, Bridgette Taylor had seven and Lexi Kirgan chipped in with six points.

Bullard begins District 16-3A play next Tuesday at home against Gilmer. Whitehouse hosts Tatum on Tuesday.

No. 7 Chapel Hill Downs Rusk

NEW CHAPEL HILL -- The seventh-ranked Chapel Hill Lady Bulldogs remained perfect on the young season with a 54-49 win over Rusk on Tuesday.

Gabby Brooks and Kadeja Warfield led Chapel Hill (5-0) with 14 points apiece. Dai-ja Maddox added nine points, while Kyla Moore chipped in with seven.

Chapel Hill opens 16-3A play Tuesday at Gladewater, while Rusk hosts Tyler Lee on Tuesday.

No. 5 Laneville Overcomes Tyler All Saints

LANEVILLE -- The Laneville Yellow Jackets earned a 90-79 win over Tyler All Saints on Tuesday.

Ty Johnson led Laneville (3-0) with 22 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocks. Kendrick Anderson also had 22 points to go with eight boards, 10 assists, five blocks and three steals. Donta Harris had 19 points, Tra Alexander finished with 14 points, four steals and two blocks and Tiarel Franklin had 10 points, four assists and three steals.

Aston Francis led All Saints with 29 points, while Jaired Maddox added 27.

Laneville plays Miller Grove on Saturday at UT Tyler, while All Saints participates in the Burger King Classic on Friday at UT Tyler.

No. 9 San Augustine Opens Victoriously

WOODVILLE -- The ninth-ranked San Augustine Wolves opened the season with a 60-45 win over Woodville on Tuesday.

Dez Randle led San Augustine (1-0), a 1A Division I state semifinalist from a year ago, with 17 points and six of the Wolves' 25 steals on the night. JaMikel Roberts added 10 points and eight rebounds and Jarvis Smith finished with six points and 10 rebounds.

San Augustine returns to action Tuesday at home against Kennard, while Woodville is at Diboll on Tuesday.

Bullard Takes Down Pine Tree

LONGVIEW -- The Bullard Panthers scored a 54-38 win over Pine Tree on Tuesday.

Caleb Chumley led Pine Tree in defeat with 14 points. Robert Hines and Blake Adams scored nine points apiece.

Pine Tree's season continues Monday at home against Athens, while Bullard is at Palestine next Tuesday.

Big Sandy Defeats Fruitvale

FRUITVALE -- The Big Sandy Wildcats took a 57-50 win over Fruitvale on Tuesday.

Caleb Smith had 22 points and 12 rebounds to pace Big Sandy (2-3). Jordan Womack added 12 points, which included three of the Wildcats' five 3-pointers on the day.

Big Sandy hosts Hawkins on Tuesday, while Fruitvale entertains Leonard also on Tuesday.

Overton Cruises Past Harmony

OVERTON -- The Overton Mustangs earned a 53-27 win over Harmony on Tuesday.

Harmony (0-2) was led in defeat by Austin Spurlock, who finished with 14 points.

The Eagles return to action at home Tuesday against Ore City.
