Tuesday Volleyball: Beckville Improves to 30-0 + More

ELYSIAN FIELDS -- The Beckville Ladycats remained unbeaten on the season with a 24-26, 25-9, 25-15, 26-24 win over Elysian Fields in District 16-3A action on Tuesday.

Hannah Humphries led Beckville (30-0, 7-0) with 14 kills, two blocks, an ace, and four digs. Riley Seegers added 10 kills, three blocks, and a dig, and Payton Jones had seven kills, one block, three aces, and 13 digs.

Jordan Tondreau had seven kills, an ace, and three digs, Miranda Mize finished with six kills, one block, and three digs, while Kinley Pepper registered 44 assists to go with an ace and 18 digs, and Courtlyn Nail chipped in with two aces and 15 digs.

Beckville's season resumes Friday at home against Jefferson.

Bullard Sweeps Kilgore

BULLARD -- The Bullard Lady Panthers rolled to a 25-18, 25-9, 25-17 sweep of Kilgore in District 15-3A play on Tuesday.

Sara McKeethan sparked Bullard (22-10, 5-0) with 15 kills, one ace, and nine digs. Ashlyn Meador added five kills and five blocks, Kelli Richmond finished with five kills, eight aces, and eight digs, Destinee Dixon had 17 assists and five digs, Kylie McKeethan had 10 assists and six digs, and Kailan Bellew finished with an ace and eight digs.

Bullard plays at Spring Hill on Friday.

Quitman Rolls Past Scurry-Rosser

QUITMAN -- The Quitman Lady Bulldogs picked up a 25-19, 25-14, 25-22 sweep of Scurry-Rosser on Tuesday in District 12-3A action.

Molly Tanner led Quitman (26-7, 8-0) with 11 kills, two blocks, one ace, and 11 digs. Madalyn Spears added nine kills, four aces, and nine digs, Kaci Raley had eight kills, three blocks, four aces, and nine digs, while Cammie Hicks finished with four kills, 29 assists, and eight digs, and Jentri Jackson chipped in with three kills, an ace, and 10 digs.

Quitman travels to Edgewood on Friday.

Carlisle Downs Leverett's Chapel

PRICE -- The Carlisle Lady Indians earned a 25-13, 25-14, 16-25, 25-22 win over Leverett's Chapel in District 20-2A play Tuesday.

Heather Craig led Carlisle (21-13, 5-2) with 22 kills, two aces, and 10 digs. Callie Gray had 12 kills, Aubrey Hart added 11 kills and six blocks, Hagan Grigsby had 29 assists and seven digs, while Haley Fears contributed five aces and 16 digs.

Carlisle plays at Gary on Friday.

Gary Rolls Past San Augustine

GARY -- Gary cruised to a 25-13, 25-15, 25-19 sweep of San Augustine on Tuesday in District 20-2A action.

Leann Youngblood led Gary (6-1 in district) with 18 kills, an ace, and 14 digs. Briley Edwards added 14 kills and one block, Taylor Rodgers racked up 33 assists to go with a block, two aces, and 10 digs, while Gracie Johnson finished with four aces and five digs.

Emory Rains Outlasts Wills Point

WILLS POINT -- The Emory Rains Ladycats earned a hard-fought 18-25, 24-26, 25-6, 27-25, 15-11 win over Wills Point in District 13-4A action Tuesday.

McKenna Hildebrandt ignited Rains (22-11, 3-1) with 16 kills and 14 blocks. Shelbi Sheppard added 15 kills, 26 assists, one ace, and 24 digs, Summer Nerkowski had 13 kills and 22 digs, Kaitlin McIntyre added four blocks, Vivian Bradshaw racked up 27 assists, while Elissa Elliott chipped in with 31 digs.

Rains plays host to Van on Friday.
