CENTER -- The Bullard Lady Panthers finished off their non-district schedule with a 25-13, 25-16, 25-17 sweep of Center on Tuesday night.

Mackenzie Fish led the way for Bullard (17-14) with 11 kills. Katie Cole added four kills, six aces, 12 digs and was 13-for-13 from the service line, Rachel Kelley provided a team-high 15 assists, Mikaela Goode registered three aces, and Kennedy Key chipped in with four digs and a pair of aces.

Bullard opens District 16-4A play Saturday at Gladewater.

 

No. 20 Troup Tops Corsicana Mildred

CORSICANA -- The 20th-ranked Troup Tigers earned a 25-20, 25-22, 16-25, 25-20 win over Corsicana Mildred in District 18-3A action on Tuesday night.

Josee Ross led Troup (16-13, 3-1) with 21 kills and 20 digs. Madison Hampton added eight kills, eight digs and an ace, Paeton Nolan had 13 digs and two blocks, Caitlyn Vickers dished out 19 assists to go with a pair of blocks, while Lana Ledford chipped in with 12 assists and two aces.

Troup returns to the court Friday against Malakoff.

 

No. 24 Winona Downs Edgewood In Four

EDGEWOOD -- The 24th-ranked Winona Ladycats scored a 25-19, 24-26, 25-23, 25-22 win over Edgewood on Tuesday in District 14-3A action.

Kawaii Gordon led Winona with 23 kills, 16 digs and six aces. Bailey Daniels dished out 35 assists, Janeth Tarango provided superb defense with 30 digs, while the duo of Randaysha Hanson and Mallori Shacklett combined on 26 digs.

Winona's season resumes Friday at home against Alba-Golden.

 

Eustace Sweeps West Rusk

EUSTACE -- The Eustace Lady Bulldogs earned a 25-17, 25-12, 25-21 sweep of West Rusk in District 18-3A action Tuesday night.

Kasey Lopez led Eustace with 12 kills. Taylor Peebles added four kills, Makenzie Abbott had three kills and two aces, and Abra Roberts finished with a team-best 15 assists and six aces.

Eustace plays host to Frankston on Friday.

 

Fourth-Ranked Beckville Rolls Past Carlisle

PRICE -- The No. 4 Beckville Lady Bearcats rolled to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20 sweep of Carlisle on Tuesday in District 20-2A competition.

Carson Blair paced Beckville (24-4, 2-0) with nine kills, 11 digs and two aces. Cassie Elizondo added eight kills and two digs, Carley Lawhorn had four kills, three blocks and three aces, Natalie Morris finished with four kills and three digs, and Kinley Blair chipped in with three kills, five digs and three blocks.

Kassidy Alexander had 20 assists to go along with eight digs and two aces, while Madi Mize had nine assists, 10 digs and a pair of aces.

Beckville returns to action next Tuesday against Leverett's Chapel.
