CORSICANA -- The 11th-ranked Lindale Lady Eagles scored a 25-12, 25-11, 25-15 sweep of Corsicana on Tuesday to remain unbeaten in District 16-4A.

Lindale (30-3, 4-0) was led by Zhanelle Geathers, who finished with 13 kills, six blocks and two aces. Rhyan Rand added nine kills, five digs and two aces, Travicia Acy had seven kills and a block, Makenna Allen finished with six kills, 10 digs and two aces and Sydney Tiiman dished out 36 assists to go with two kills and eight digs.

The Lady Eagles close out the first round of district play Friday at home against Whitehouse.

No. 9 Van Sweeps Brownsboro

VAN -- The ninth-ranked Van Lady Vandals earned a 25-23, 25-13, 25-9 sweep of Brownsboro on Tuesday in District 15-3A action.

Hallee Carter led Van (26-6, 4-0) with nine kills. Bri Thompson added eight kills and two blocks, Rebekah Rogers had eight kills and four aces, Ashlin Lovett provided 13 digs and Morgan Wilkerson added 26 assists and five aces.

Van continues its season Friday at Mineola.

No. 23 Gilmer Rolls Past Kilgore

KILGORE -- The No. 23 Gilmer Lady Buckeyes cruised to a 25-17, 25-15, 25-23 sweep of Kilgore in District 16-3A play Tuesday.

Gilmer (19-10, 6-1) was led by Maci Ritter's seven kills, five digs and two aces. Makayla Sikes added six kills, a block, 10 digs and two aces, Karlie White added five kills, Belynda Ray had four kills and one block and Shaylee Fennell added 24 assists, one block and four aces.

The Lady Buckeyes' season continues Friday at home against Henderson.

No. 25 Quitman Sweeps Como-Pickton

QUITMAN -- The 25th-ranked Quitman Lady Bulldogs cruised to a 25-12, 25-8, 25-14 sweep of Como-Pickton on Tuesday in District 14-2A action.

Allison McKinley led Quitman (19-12, 8-0) with 13 kills and 10 digs. Kelsey Daniel added nine kills and seven digs, Shea Raley had eight kills, Shelby Herring finished with six kills, five digs and two aces and Beth Noble dished out 32 assists to go with six digs.

Quitman returns to action Friday at Commerce.

No. 10 White Oak Takes Down No. 16 New Diana

DIANA -- The 10th-ranked White Oak Ladynecks defeated District 17-2A rival and No. 16 New Diana 25-21, 25-15, 25-17 on Tuesday.

Madison Pecot led White Oak (25-8, 8-0) with 14 kills, three blocks and three digs. Rebecca Green added nine kills, two blocks and seven digs, Cayman Sutton had 18 assists, one kill and six digs and Mackenzie Goll finished with 18 digs.

White Oak hosts Tatum, while New Diana (22-10, 6-2) plays at Waskom on Friday.

Mount Vernon Notches Comeback Win

MOUNT VERNON -- After dropping Game 1 to Paris Chisum, Mount Vernon stormed back for a 22-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-11 victory behind a match-high 21 kills from Alyssa Auringer.

The win was the fifth in a row for Mount Vernon, which is now 25-4 overall and 5-2 in district play. The victory avenged a five-game loss at Paris Chisum on Sept. 13.

Emily Floyd followed Auringer's big night with 15 kills, while Maitland Rutledge and Sarah Johnson added eight kills and seven kills, respectively. Bailey Bohlken dished out a match-best 43 assists.

Mount Vernon's Ashton Sharp led the Lady Tigers with seven digs. Emma Strickland and Ashley Brown had six digs apiece. Taylor Rose had four digs.

Mount Vernon hosts district-leading Pattonville Prairiland on Friday. Prairiland edged Mount Vernon on Sept. 17 in five games.

Sabine Sweeps West Rusk

NEW LONDON -- The Sabine Lady Cardinals swept West Rusk 25-17, 25-13, 25-16 in District 18-2A action Tuesday.

Haley Stuart led Sabine (24-8, 5-2) with 15 kills, one assist, five digs and two aces. Tylia Sylestine added nine kills, six digs and three aces, Brittany Terry had seven kills, three digs and three aces, Jayden Mount dished out 19 assists to go with eight digs and six aces and Kennidee Taylor had 16 digs and an assist.

Sabine returns to action Friday at home against Harmony.

Troup Too Much For Frankston

TROUP -- The Troup Lady Tigers earned a 25-16, 25-15, 25-20 sweep of Frankston in District 18-2A action Tuesday.

Cheney Cover led Troup with 10 kills, two blocks, 20 digs and two aces. Josee Ross added 10 kills, seven digs and an ace, Paeton Nolan had six kills, 11 digs and three aces, Monet Hale finished with four kills, two blocks, two digs and one ace, Bethany Mason provided 18 digs and Carly Dyess dished out 19 assists and added two kills, three blocks and five digs.

Troup returns to action Saturday at home against Winona.

Arp Cruises to Sweep of Winona

ARP -- The Arp Lady Tigers recorded a 25-22, 25-17, 25-15 sweep of Winona in District 18-2A play Tuesday.

Kaci Kuykendall led Arp (12-19, 6-2) with 11 kills and four digs. India Rose Holland added 11 kills, five digs and an ace, Megan Campbell had six kills, five digs and and one ace, Tinikia Lacy had four kills, one block and two digs, Mikayla Frost had 14 digs and two aces and Alicia Summers dished out 30 assists to go along with two kills, three digs and four aces.

Arp plays at Frankston on Friday.

No. 10 Beckville Downs Big Sandy

BECKVILLE -- No. 10 Beckville took down Big Sandy 25-13, 23-25, 25-18, 26-24 in District 20-A action Tuesday.

Taylor Lindsay led Beckville (21-4, 7-0) with 14 kills, 15 digs, one block and three aces. Ivy Rieke added 10 kills, four blocks and nine digs, Carson Blair had eight kills and 17 digs, Cassie Elizondo finished with eight kills, one block and an assist, Carley Lawhorn had two kills, six blocks and two digs and Kassidy Alexander finished with 38 assists and seven digs.

Beckville returns to action Friday at Timpson.

Gary Sweeps Timpson

GARY -- Gary blew past Timpson 25-5, 25-12, 25-20 in District 20-A play Tuesday.

Collyn Pinkerton led Gsry (19-10, 5-2) with 15 kills, five blocks, two digs and two aces. Ryley Beckham added nine kills, 16 digs and six aces, Sydney Ritter had five kills and a block, Bailey Reistad finished with four kills, nine digs and four aces and Josey Greer racked up 32 assists, one kill, four digs and three aces.

Gary's season resumes Friday at Leverett's Chapel.

Tyler All Saints Defeats Rival Tyler Bishop Gorman

TYLER -- The Tyler All Saints Lady Trojans took down crosstown rival Tyler Bishop Gorman 21-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-19 on Tuesday in TAPPS District 2-4A action.

Lanna Johnson led All Saints (5-2 in district) with 19 kills. Madeline Wynne added 14 kills, Maddie Smith had 47 assists, Ferrell Clyde had seven blocks, Foster Hackney finished with 18 digs and Sydney Barrett collected eight aces.

All Saints hosts Dallas Parish Episcopal on Thursday.
