John Tyler 2019 offensive lineman Chance Billington received his fifth Division I FBS scholarship offer on Tuesday.

Billington (6-3, 3-1) announced via Twitter that Tulane became the latest school to offer.

The Lions' lineman also holds FBS offers from Iowa State, New Mexico State, SMU, and Texas State.

Billington anchored a protection unit that allowed John Tyler's offense to average 378.8 yards per game (196.4 passing and 182.4 rushing) last season.

Tulane competes in the American Athletic Conference. The Green Wave is coached by Willie Fritz and finished 2017 with an overall record of 5-7 (3-5 in league play).

Billington, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him beginning in December.
