Tyler All Saints Goes Undefeated in Pool Play Action At Van Volleyball Tournament

VAN -- The Tyler All Saints Lady Trojans went undefeated in pool play at the Van Tournament on Friday.

All Saints defeated Harmony 25-17, 25-12, took care of Brownsboro 22-25, 25-22, 25-13 and knocked off Hawkins by a score of 25-16, 25-16.

The Lady Trojans (4-2) advanced to the championship round and will play Sulphur Springs at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

In the win over Harmony, Hannah Waits led the way with five kills. Frances Hackney dished out 12 assists, Ferrell Clyde had three blocks, Emma Lewis contributed three digs and Sydney Barrett registered five aces.

Clyde paced All Saints' defeat of Brownsboro with eight kills, four blocks and five aces. Hackney recorded 25 assists, while May Claire Luzetti had eight digs.

Barrett provided six kills and six aces in the win over Hawkins. Hackney finished with 19 assists, Clyde had four blocks and Emma Lewis produced three digs.
