Tyler Grace Community Girls Basketball Tops Frankston

FRANKSTON -- Addie Daughtry, Parker Daughty and Jordan Tauscher all reached double digits Thursday to help Tyler Grace Community past Frankston, 62-45, on the road.

A 20-point third quarter helped the Lady Cougars (2-0) get the separation they needed. The Lady Indians (0-1) led 15-14 after the first quarter and were down just 28-26 at the break.

Frankston scored nine points in the third period.

Parker Daughtry connected on two 3-point attempts in the game as part of 18 points. Addie Daughty led the way with 22 points and Tauscher scored 12 points.

Grace will be idle this weekend and resume play on the road Tuesday at Colleyville Covenant Christian. It's a 6 p.m. tip in the Metroplex.

Frankston will be back in action Nov. 19 in a tournament hosted by Slocum.
