CARROLLTON -- Tyler Grace built up a 35-point lead at the half and cruised to a 48-14 win Friday at Carrollton Prince of Peace.

Quarterback Christopher Wilhelmi threw four touchdowns in the victory, three of them from outside the red zone. He finished with 308 yards and completed 17 of 19 passes to one interception.

Garrett Tauscher caught two of the scoring strikes, the second of which allowed the Cougars (6-3, 3-1) a 35-0 lead at the break.

Zach West pulled in a 33-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to up the lead to 42-7 and persuaded head coach Mike Maddox to call the dogs off.

Braydon Stone caught a 56-yard touchdown in the first quarter toward 108 yards on just five catches and Caleb Glenney put up a team-best 95 yards and scored once on eight touches.

Uchenna Uduma scored from six yards to cap a 70-yard opening drive.

Grace's win allowed it to keep pace with Tyler Bishop Gorman for second place in TAPPS Division II, District II. That tie will be broken next week when the Crusaders pay a visit to Clyde-Perkins Stadium.

Prince of Peace (4-4, 1-4) also will be in Tyler next week to battle All Saints.
