The Tyler Lee offense hasn't exactly imploded since the loss of starting quarterback Zach Hall to injury. Sophomore Chance Amie has certainly lived up to the positional expectations.

Amie continued his strong surge in the Red Raiders' last-second 59-54 win over Garland Lakeview Centennial by passing for 323 yards and three touchdowns, while running for an additional 115 yards and three more scores.

For his efforts, Amie is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week, following last week's winner, Judah Bell of Tyler Bishop Gorman.

Amie, making just the third start of his career, completed 13 of 23 attempts and had scoring tosses of 60, 39, 59 yards. He also scored on second-half runs of 41 and 12 yards, preceding his 2-yard game-winning touchdown with 29 seconds remaining.

Amie and his Lee (2-4, 1-2 in District 16-5A) teammates are off this week. The season resumes Oct. 16 at Garland.
