LUFKIN -- Quarterback Tyler Stubblefield and receiver JaBryce Taylor hooked up for two touchdowns, including a 99-yarder, to lead Lufkin to a 40-7 defeat of The Woodlands College Park on Friday night in a District 14-5A matchup at Abe Martin Stadium.

Taylor finished with six catches for 229 yards and touchdown catches of 80 and 99 yards from Stubblefield in a game that saw Lufkin start with 34 straight points.

Stubblefield completed 12 of 18 pass attempts for 287 yards with the touchdowns to Taylor and an interception. Lufkin racked up 512 total yards of offense in the win, which pushed the Pack to 5-3 on the season and 3-1 in district play.

Kendrick Mapp carried Lufkin on the ground, rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. He scored touchdowns of 1 and 5 yards four minutes apart in a 28-point first quarter for Lufkin.

Lufkin limited College Park (4-4, 1-3) to 216 yards of total offense, including holding quarterback Brett Buckley to 5 of 20 passing for 74 yards and two interceptions.
