ULL Offers Carthage Receiver Terian “Tee” Goree

The second offer arrived for Carthage's Terian "Tee" Goree on Thursday.

Louisiana-Lafayette offered Goree this morning, he told ETSN.fm. The Ragin' Cajuns are the second Louisiana-based program to offer Goree, who received a Louisiana-Monroe offer a few weeks ago along with fellow receiver O'Keeron Rutherford.

Goree, who measured 6-3 3/4 and 168 pounds at the May 19 ETSN.fm Football Recruiting Combine at APEC training facility, had a stellar junior season. Goree's 2012 totals in receptions (66), receiving yards (1,261), and touchdown catches (17) rank fourth, second, and second, respectively, in single-season school history.

Goree performed well at the ETSN.fm Football Recruiting Combine. The big-framed receiver ran a 4.58-second laser-timed 40-yard dash and impressed during position-specific drills, showing the ability to get off the line of scrimmage against some of East Texas' best cover corners.

Goree and the 6-foot-5 Rutherford, who caught 43 passes for 599 yards and eight scores, will once again be the top targets for classmate Blake Bogenschutz, who started the last two seasons at quarterback and led the Bulldogs to a 20-7 record in that span. Carthage will have its top passer, top two rushers, top two receivers, and all five starting offensive linemen back for the 2013 season after averaging 42.8 points per game in 2012.
