KILGORE -- The Kilgore Lady Bulldogs rallied from a two-set deficit to take down Gladewater, 18-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 15-6, Friday night in District 16-3A action.

Annie Mehringer led Kilgore (5-5 in district) with 13 kills, 25 digs and four aces. Tony Burks added 16 kills, Sarah Mendenhall contributed 33 assists, four aces, three kills and six digs and Taylor Stewart produced seven kills and four blocks.

Kilgore continues its season Tuesday at Spring Hill.

Pine Tree Rolls to Sweep of Hallsville

LONGVIEW -- The No. 15 Pine Tree Lady Pirates rebounded from their first District 14-4A loss with a 25-17, 25-18, 25-18 sweep of Hallsville on Friday.

The trio of Sky Holmes (13 kills), Kerri Johnson (12) and Devin Assenheimer (10) led Pine Tree's offensive attack.

Emily Shelton added 34 assists, while Darby Davis and Kennedy Sampson combined for 38 digs.

Pine Tree closes out its regular season Tuesday at Marshall. Hallsville plays host to Sulphur Springs.

No. 13 Carthage Sweeps Center

CENTER -- The 13th-ranked Carthage Lady Dawgs scored a 25-10, 25-18, 25-17 sweep of Center on Friday to remain unbeaten in District 20-3A.

Iesha Bryant led the way with nine kills and three blocks. Kenzie Tate added 22 assists and 11 digs, while Morgan Wedgeworth Shelby Soape teamed for 24 digs.

Carthage is off Tuesday, returning to the court next Friday for its regular-season finale at home against Jasper.

Beckville Sweeps Gary on Senior Night

BECKVILLE -- Ivy Rieke had nine kills, eight blocks, and 16 digs to lead Beckville to a 25-14, 25-16, 25-21 sweep of Gary on senior night.

Taylor Lindsay added seven kills and 16 digs, while Shelbi Jo Dodson had six kills, 11 digs, and two aces. Carson Blair chipped in with six kills and two blocks. Emma Smith led Beckville (19-11, 9-3) with 19 assists.

Beckville will play a warmup match to be determined next week.
