TEXARKANA -- Texas High avenged its only District 14-4A loss, beating Pine Tree 22-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-20, 15-10 in a key district match Friday afternoon.

The loss is No. 6 Pine Tree's first in 14-4A play and snaps 21-match district winning streak dating to 2010. The loss was also the Lady Pirates' first since Aug. 23.

Pine Tree and Texas High are each 6-1 in 14-4A entering the final three matches of district play.

Sabine Outlasts Harmony in Five

ROSEWOOD -- Class 2A's No. 13 Sabine Lady Cardinals notched a big road win Friday, topping Harmony 25-21, 10-25, 24-26, 25-18, 15-11 in District 18-2A action.

Kylie Baker led Sabine (33-5, 11-0) with 10 kills, 18 digs, and 12 service points, while Jordan Baker added seven kills, one block, and 18 assists. Haley Stuart had nine kills and two blocks. Tylia Sylestine had seven kills, 25 digs, and 12 service points.

No. 7 White Oak Sweeps Elysian Fields

ELYSIAN FIELDS -- The seventh-ranked White Oak Ladynecks remained in control of District 17-2A with a 26-24, 25-11, 27-25 sweep at Elysian Fields on Friday.

Kaylee Prather led Elysian Fields with seven kills, eight digs, and four aces, while Teya Jones had five kills. Kayetlyn Busbey had a team-high 20 digs.

White improved to 32-4 overall and 11-0 in 17-2A. Elysian Fields fell to 22-11, 7-4.

 Overton Tops Beckville in Four

OVERTON -- Overton overcame a Game 1 loss to beat Beckville 21-25, 25-20, 25-12, 25-19 on Friday.

Beckville (17-11, 7-3) got 13 kills and two aces from Shelbi Jo Dodson, along with Ivy Rieke's 11 kills and 10 kills apiece from Taylor Lindsay and Carson Blair. Emma Smith led the Ladycats with 17 assists, and Montana Searcy had 11.
