HALLSVILLE -- Rebekah Bowden had 10 kills and five blocks to lift the Tyler Lee Lady Raiders past Hallsville 25-21, 26-24, 23-25, 25-18 on Tuesday night.

Alexis Crowder added eight kills for Lee (7-6). Taylor Winchester and Gentry Townsend provided stellar defense with 19 and 12 digs, respectively. Melissa Menard and Chelsea Geter combined on 33 assists.

Both the Lady Raiders and Hallsville will take part in the Tyler tournament this weekend.

Carthage 3, Jacksonville 0

JACKSONVILLE -- The 10th-ranked Carthage Lady Dawgs swept Jacksonville on Tuesday night, 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.

Iesha Bryant led the way with 10 kills and three blocks. Shelby Soape added seven kills and three aces, Marisah Ingram had six kills and five blocks and Jordan Holmes contributed six kills and three blocks.

Kenzi Tate assisted on 24 points for Carthage, which improved to 14-2.

Van 3, Troup 0

TROUP -- The Van Lady Vandals continued their impressive start to the season with a 25-16, 25-14, 25-14 sweep of Troup on Tuesday night.

Bri Thompson led the way for Van (16-1) with seven kills and two blocks. Haley McCarty added six kills and four aces, Susannah Wisdom chipped in with four kills and Morgan Wilkerson added 21 assists.

Van returns to action Friday at Sulphur Springs. Troup plays host to Jacksonville on Friday.

Bullard 3, Palestine 0

BULLARD -- The Bullard Lady Panthers cruised to a 25-16, 25-14, 25-18 sweep of Palestine on Tuesday.

Meredith Daly led the way with eight kills, two blocks and one ace. She was also 14 of 15 from the service line. Kenzie Fish added eight kills, while Hana Woyt had four.

Lexie Abercrombie was 11 of 12 serving with three digs, Julia Frisby added five kills, Bri Ridgley had 16 assists, Mallory McCoy chimed in with seven assists and Madi Hodges had seven digs and was a perfect 10 for 10 at the service line.

Bullard (6-6) will participate in the Tyler tournament beginning with pool play on Friday. Palestine returns to the court Friday with a dual match with a dual match against Grapeland and Centerville in Grapeland.

Kilgore 3, Sabine 1

KILGORE -- The Kilgore Lady Bulldogs took a four-set victory over Sabine, 26-24, 25-21, 13-25, 25-19, on Tuesday night.

Team captain Sarah Mendenhall led the way with 20 assists, six kills and six digs. Annie Mehringer added four aces, nine kills and 15 digs, while Tony Burks provided 11 kills and seven digs.

Nichole Flores chipped in with three aces and 14 digs, McKayln Pinter added two aces and 13 digs and Destiny Washington came through with two kills and seven blocks for Kilgore.

Pittsburg 3, Hughes Springs 2

HUGHES SPRINGS -- The Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs pushed it to five sets but fell to Pittsburg 25-12, 22-25, 25-21, 18-25, 15-9 on Tuesday night.

Breanne Gunn led Hughes Springs with 16 kills and 10 digs. Kayla Watkins and Cheyenne Murphy added 12 and 10 assists, respectively. Watkins also chipped in with 20 digs, while Ashlin Roach, Lyndsey Anton and Murphy combined for 39 digs.

Hughes Springs (6-9) returns to action Friday at home against Waskom.

Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill 3, Daingerfield 2

DAINGERFIELD -- Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill defeated Daingerfield in five games on Tuesday, 22-25, 25-16, 25-20, 22-25, 15-11.

Daingerfield fell to 3-9 on the season and will play host to Gladewater on Friday.

Beckville 3, West Rusk 0

BECKVILLE -- Beckville rolled to a 25-20, 25-4, 25-9 sweep of West Rusk on Tuesday.

Ivy Rieke led the way with 15 kills and 10 digs, while Taylor Lindsay provided nine kills and 15 digs. Carson Blair added seven kills and 10 digs, and Montana Search had a team-high 14 assists.

Beckville (8-8) returns to the court Friday at Center.
